  • Account Information: When you create an mgPass account, we collect your name, email address, and password.

  • Profile Information: You may choose to provide additional information, such as your phone number, profile picture, or other personal details.

  • Social Login Information: If you choose to sign in to mgPass using your social media account (e.g., Google, Facebook, Apple), we may collect your social media profile information, such as your name, email address, and profile picture.

  • Device Information: We may collect information about the device you use to access the Service, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.  

  • Log Information: We collect server logs that may include information like your IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.  

  • Usage Information: We may collect information about how you use the Service, such as the features you access, the pages you visit, and the time you spend on the Service.

  • Partners and Clients: We may receive information about you from our partners and clients when you use their services in conjunction with mgPass.

  • Publicly Available Sources: We may collect information about you from publicly available sources, such as social media platforms, to the extent permitted by law.

These technologies may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps. We use this information to analyse trends, administer the Service, track users' movements around the Service, and gather demographic information about our user base.  

You can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level. If you reject cookies, you may still use the Service, but your ability to use some features or areas of the Service may be limited.  

6. Your Choices
  • Access and Update: You can access and update your account information by logging into your mgPass account.

  • Opt-Out: You can opt out of receiving promotional communications from us by following the instructions in those communications.  

  • Account Deletion: You can request to delete your mgPass account by contacting us at privacy@mediageneral.digital. Please note that some information may be retained for legal or administrative purposes.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.  

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will take steps to delete that information.  

9. International Data Transfers

MG Digital is located in Ghana, and your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of your jurisdiction. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from the laws of your country. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this Privacy Policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
